Ipswich Board of Assessors approves nearly $74K in April abatements. Chairperson Mary-Lou Ireland, M.A.A., and members David Feldman and Sean McFadden approved motor vehicle excise abatements of $13,881.31 across two levy years, boat excise abatements of $170, and real estate and personal property abatements totaling $59,872.16 under various statutory clauses. The April total reached $73,916.63.
The board entered executive session at 6:24 pm to discuss abatements and statutory exemptions before adjourning at 6:40 pm.
