Conservation Commission · Meeting of July 22, 2026
Ipswich Conservation Commission approved an 8.6-acre conservation restriction and advanced the dam removal project. The commission unanimously accepted the conservation restriction at 1-5 Rosewood Drive, replacing an existing deed restriction and meeting a requirement of the site's original Order of Conditions. The dam removal project was resubmitted after a 2025 appeal by residents and continued to August 5 with the public hearing remaining open for more comment.
The commission also approved permits and re-issued an enforcement order at 36 Mitchell Road with a September 23 deadline for applicants to submit a restoration plan.
