IPSWICH — Historical Commission discusses dam for National Register nomination. Officer Mariana Ovnic and Commissioner Tracy Hendrickson reviewed the commission's investigation of placing the town's dam on the National Register of Historic Places ahead of a spring Town Meeting warrant article. Officer Laura Gresh advocated for extending downtown outdoor dining, framing it as vital to historic streetscape preservation; the Select Board has limited dining hours.
Ms. Gresh will draft a newspaper letter supporting extended dining. Commissioner Sarah Burrows announced her resignation.
