Ipswich housing boards discussed launching a new rental assistance program with nonprofit Action Inc. while advancing a housing production plan update. The Affordable Housing Trust Fund and Ipswich Housing Partnership coordinated with Action Inc. staff Matt Bianchetto and Caryn Clifford in a July 27 Zoom meeting, with the Housing Program Coordinator and Director of Planning and Community Development Alan S. Manoian scheduling August 5 site visits to Inclusionary Housing properties.
Committee members agreed the 2026-2027 Housing Production Plan should provide updates on community profile, demographics, subsidized housing inventory units, and inclusionary housing approaches. Director Manoian will meet with the Metropolitan Area Planning Council Executive Director on August 4 to discuss Technical Assistance Program funding for fall community engagement sessions.
