Ipswich housing boards launched rental assistance program with Action, Inc. Mike Jones, AHT chairman, executed the contract July 6 during a joint meeting with the Ipswich Housing Partnership. Newly hired Housing Program Coordinator Aalin Hubbard started the same day.
The Director reported that the Planning Board will vote July 9 to initiate the Housing Production Plan Update for 2026-2031. Ipswich has reached 9.3 percent of its state-mandated 10 percent subsidized housing inventory; three pending developments are expected to push the town above the threshold.
