Ipswich Open Space Committee advances action plan review toward 2030. The committee unanimously accepted prior meeting minutes and reviewed the first two objectives of the Open Space & Recreation Plan Action Plan, making assignments for follow-up work and scheduling continued discussion of Objective 1-3 at the next meeting. Committee member Ginny Stevens reported findings from research into town budgeting rules, indicating that including post-retirement benefit expenses as a line item in the Open Space budget was unusual and inappropriate.
