Planning Board · Meeting of August 13, 2026

IPSWICH — Planning Board approved two site plans and voted to defer zoning bylaw changes pending a grant-funded study. The board unanimously approved Cedar Tree Realty's site plan for an indoor riding arena at 267 Topsfield Road and Micro-Mech, Inc.'s two-phase industrial project at 35 Turnpike Road, which includes a 115,100-gallon water storage tank. In a policy decision, the board voted unanimously not to advance a Warrant Article on the Lot Area definition, with Planning Director Alan Manoian recommending deferral to allow time for grant-funded town-wide analysis of lot standards.

The board continued multiple zoning bylaw amendment hearings to September 3 before an October 20 Special Town Meeting.
