Planning Board continues four applications; discusses bylaw amendments

Ipswich Planning Board defers four applications to January 29. The Planning Board voted unanimously to continue four public hearings: a municipal drinking water treatment plant proposed by the Town of Ipswich Water and Wastewater Director at 274 High Street; a subdivision modification by Sharon M. Fuller at 40 Chattanooga Road; an indoor riding arena site plan by Cedar Tree Realty, LLC at 267 Topsfield Road; and a multi-family dwelling by 214 High Street LLC at 214 High Street.

Planning Director Alan Manoian outlined potential bylaw amendments for Fall Town Meeting consideration, including revisions to lot area definitions and building height standards, and announced plans for a joint meeting with the Design Review Board to develop Downtown Ipswich Design Guidelines.
