IPSWICH — Select Board conducts comprehensive FY27 budget review across nine departments. Chair Charles Surpitski and members unanimously appointed Vincent Falcione to the Shade Tree and Beautification Committee and Helen Anderson to the Board of Registrars, and approved pavilion beach use for Let's Sauna LLC on April 4 and May 2. Police Chief Paul Nikas emphasized that staffing levels have remained stagnant since 1986 despite population increases.
Interim Town Manager Thomas Younger announced the Attorney General approved an Ipswich ban on Bitcoin machines and confirmed the town is receiving $500,000 from the Massachusetts Department of Transportation Complete Streets Program.
