IPSWICH — Select Board and Electric Light Subcommittee jointly reviewed capital infrastructure planning with no formal project votes. ELD Manager Dylan Lewellyn and Electric Operations Manager Anthony Calascibetta discussed upgrades at Fowler's Lane and High Street substations, with the High Street project carrying a preliminary $15 million estimate for a new indoor facility to improve reliability and support future load growth. The board unanimously approved March 9, 2026 subcommittee minutes.

In other business, Moderator Jim Engel noted that Vice Chair Michael Dougherty may shift the board's position on using stabilization funds to balance the budget, citing a surplus from trash contract savings; revised motions were requested for the upcoming Annual Town Meeting.
