Ipswich Waterways Advisory Committee approves prior minutes and hears mooring update. Committee members, presided over by Chairperson Chris Murray and including Gary Hamilton, Rob Cox, and Jenna DiMento, unanimously approved the January 14 meeting minutes and heard that approximately 600 mooring renewals have been processed. Craig Martin reported that contamination in the Shellfish River must be resolved before dredging can proceed, with Seth Moulton's office pushing for rapid progress; use of state funds would disqualify the river from future federal dredging.
Two fishing certification courses are scheduled in Gloucester for May 7 and 8. The committee meets again March 11.
