Waterways Advisory Committee approves prior minutes; hears docks complete.

IPSWICH — The Waterways Advisory Committee approved prior minutes and heard that new docks are installed. The Harbormaster reported on river marker installation and shifting water depths and channel conditions in the harbor. Engineering firm Tighe and Bond is finalizing details on the Seaport Commercial Wharf Engineering Grant, which will fund 80 percent of a project to replace the deteriorating commercial wharf wall and construct a new wharf.

Coordinating the work with a planned pump project on Water Street will reduce costs. The next meeting is set for May 13, 2026.
