IPSWICH — The Waterways Advisory Committee approved a dock service contract with Green's Marine at Peatfield Street for $2,000 annually. Vice Chairman David Morin led the meeting with members Michael Arnold, Anthony Giannelli, Gary Hamilton, and Jenna DiMento. The committee decided to advance planning for the Seaport Commercial Wharf and Wall Engineering Grant project, which would address waterfront wall replacement and construct a new commercial wharf for approximately $720,000 in town funding—far less than the estimated $1.3 million for wall replacement alone.
The committee plans to present design options to the Select Board in September or October and aims to include the project in the 2028 town budget.
