Zoning Board of Appeals · Meeting of May 21, 2026
Ipswich Zoning Board of Appeals approved four special permits at its May 21 meeting. The board unanimously granted permits for a basketball court, second-story dwelling addition, rear deck, and detached garage with carport. The basketball court permit was conditioned on the structure being no closer than 5 feet from the primary dwelling, and the dwelling addition required temporary fencing to protect an adjacent river during construction.
The board continued hearings on a horseback riding instructional facility and an attached garage to June 18 for additional site plans and documentation.
