Ipswich sets Nov. 16 tax classification hearing
The Ipswich Select Board will hold a public hearing on the annual classification of real estate taxes on Nov. 16 at Town Hall, ahead of this year's tax bills going out.
The Town of Ipswich announced Oct. 7 that the Select Board will hold a public hearing on the annual classification of real estate taxes.
The hearing is scheduled for Monday, Nov. 16, at 7:15 p.m. in Meeting Room A of Ipswich Town Hall, 25 Green Street. The Assessor's Office said the discussion will take place prior to the issuance of tax bills.
Tax classification hearings are typically held each year before a municipality sets the tax rates that determine individual property tax bills.
