Library board approves landscape construction plan.

Ipswich Public Library Board votes unanimously to advance the landscape master plan. The trustees approved ordering a detailed construction plan from Crowley Cottrell for the landscape and fence project, instructing the contractor to prioritize maintenance, local flora, and patron impact. Library Director Nora Blake reported significant capital needs not in the town budget: replacement rugs for the children's room and staff areas, a new alarm system, and roof membrane replacement, which the director is addressing with town departments.

The Children's Room staff were recognized as town employees of the year, with staff member Betsy Johnson receiving her 20-year service pin.
