Ipswich Public Library Board commits $50,000 for rug replacement, finishing capital improvements. Following town Facilities funding for alarm and roof membrane work, the Library Board of Trustees completed its capital plan by authorizing the rug replacement. Director Nora Blake reported that the Giant Candy Land event was hugely successful and staff are exploring an adult version featuring cocktails and a temporary liquor license.
The Friends of the Library will welcome author Catherine Newman on May 19 as part of the spring Johnson Author Series.
