IPSWICH — Zoning Board of Appeals unanimously approves Special Permit for home addition at 17 Poplar Street. Chair Robert Gambale and the five-member board found that the Joyce family's addition to their nonconforming single-family dwelling met all required criteria under Section XI.J and granted the permit under Section II.B.3 for construction as shown on architect Axel Ruiz's drawings dated 12/10/25. The board also withdrew two petitions without prejudice, re-advertised Ilir Lecaj's covered porch application at 15 Juniper Street after survey corrections reduced required setback relief from 29 feet to 20 feet 3 inches, and continued Paul Scioli's Cable Professional Association sign request to February 19, 2026 pending a variance demonstration.
