Ipswich School Committee votes to formally back a two-year football cooperative with Triton after its own program folded for lack of players. Tom Gallagher told the board 12 Ipswich students joined Triton's team in August under coach Ed Melanson, with busing for underclassmen still unresolved. The committee also accepted a $15,000 Dirty Hands Project grant for a campus mindfulness garden, approved a shade-tree planting plan, appointed Dr.

Nick Kasdon as school physician and adopted a state-mandated PROTECT Act data policy on a single reading. NESDEC's Dave DeRussi pitched a roughly $15,000 to $16,000 superintendent search process. A resident said the district failed to disclose an August 20 data breach: "this is yet another breach of trust." Members separately blasted a recent town meeting's clicker failures and $38,000 price tag ahead of a September 8 Special Town Meeting.
